    Our Washington D.C. office is looking to grow its dynamic Health studio with a veteran Health Project Manager that is eager to work with clients and team members to help innovate, design, and deliver health solutions for our clients.  The right individual has a passion for teamwork and detail, is good at organizing teams, mentoring staff, and leveraging resources in a successful project.  The ideal candidate is passionate about working in integrated teams at a range of scales and complexities, from greenfield hospitals, to specialized complex bed towers.  This is an excellent opportunity to join a very talented and experience team, leading the way in health.  Recently the Washington D.C. office was voted best places to work by Washington Business Journal.


    • Part of the leadership team, responsible for client engagement together with PIC.
    • Manages all project team efforts to facilitate effective execution of project design and the delivery of construction documents.
    • Coordinates design group interaction both internally and externally. 
    • Develops project schedule and manages to that schedule. Prepares strategic plans for projects.
    • Develops job costs, job budget, and manpower projections.
    • Manages project financial performance.
    • Exercises skills of persuasion and negotiation on critical issues.
    • Oversees both internal and external members of project team.
    • Determines terms and prepares contract packages.
    • Mentors project team, helps nurture the next generation of leadership.
    • Advocates for design and client service.
    • Participates in studio staffing decisions.
    • Helps manage the health studio resources.
    • Participates and supports business development pursuit strategies and project approaches.
    • Engages with firm-wide initiatives as appropriate to role and interest.


    • Professional degree from an accredited program.
    • Typically with 15+ years experience, minimum of 10 years in healthcare work at a variety of scales and specialties.
    • Architectural Registration Required.
    • LEED credential preferred.
    • Knowledgeable of CAD and/or BIM and other drafting and presentation tools.
