The Senior Corporate Accountant will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions, as well as partnering with other departments to obtain timely and accurate information. This is a “roll-up-your-sleeves” Senior Corporate Accountant position that involves broad-based responsibility chartered to providing critical support and leadership for increasing the effectiveness of the global accounting organization. We are looking for a motivated candidate that has a strong background in accounting that wants to grow their career within a dynamic, high growth organization. The Senior Corporate Accountant will help automate the accounting process, while simultaneously having a meaningful impact on the overall business.  This is a high visibility role interacting with the Executive Leadership Team including the CFO, COO and CEO.




  • The Senior Corporate Accountant will work closely with the Accounting Manager on a daily basis and will provide mentoring and leadership to the entire global accounting department.
  • Prepare and record asset, liability, revenue, and expense entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
  • Review office, market sector, and firm-wide monthly income statements and research variance to prior year and budget.
  • Analyze balance sheet account and research discrepancies.
  • Prepare and analyze allocation entries to offices, sectors and countries and intercompany transactions between various HKS entities and countries.
  • Prepare and research various international and US reports for regional business leaders.
  • Assists external audits in various countries by analyzing and reconciling general ledger accounts and providing information for auditors.
  • Assist with preparation and review of consolidated quarterly financial statements, including consolidation and elimination entries.
  • Assist with special projects and financial analysis.


Minimum Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • At least 4 years of progressive accounting experience.


  Desired Skills & Experience:

  • CPA designation (or in process) is strongly preferred.
  • Must possess the highest degree of integrity and ethical standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate process improvements and productivity enhancements with the Finance/Accounting team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.  Listens effectively, transmits information accurately and understandably, and actively seeks feedback.
  • Handles confidential and sensitive information and records with a high degree of discretion, diligence and good judgment.
  • Well-organized, self-directed team player.  Remains open to others’ ideas, and exhibits willingness to try new things.
  • Strong Analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Previous is experience in the AEC field is strongly preferred.
