    HKS, Inc. is seeking a structural engineer to join it’s Dallas engineering team.


    • Executes the structural engineering tasks assigned or as otherwise directed.
    • Performs effectively as a team member during design and/or construction phases.
    • Maintains active awareness of the production schedule for responsible task(s).
    • Review of completed tasks at key intervals for accuracy/completeness.
    • Documents project meetings and telephone conversations.
    • Performs structural CA tasks assigned by Structural Project Engineer including engineer’s site visitation, field report documentation, shop drawing review, and response to project RFI’s.  Note:  EIT will not perform site visitation unless accompanied by licensed engineer, unless otherwise approved by Director of Engineering.


    • Professional degree in civil or architectural engineering from an accredited program; Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred.
    • Technical knowledge through academic experience, and work experiences as/if accrued.
    • New college graduate with a degree in engineering and less than 1 year of experience.
    • Capable of performing duties in a fast paced environment.
    • Working knowledge of Revit is strongly preferred.
